WoW Classic Receives A Survey To Decide The Future Of The Game

World of Warcraft Classic is a retro version of the original WoW released in 2004. WoW Classic was released by Blizzard to revive the old glories of the game and to allow players of yesteryear to re-enjoy the experience that built the inexhaustible legacy of this MMORPG.

However, as time has passed, and with more than a year of availability, WoW Classic has already been updated and has received new content and expansions. The most recent was the introduction of the legendary Naxrammas raid with the fight against Kel’Thuzad.

Now, Blizzard wants to know if players are interested in this game being updated further and if they are interested in playing the next big expansion The Burning Crusade, which will add a lot more content to the game.

For this reason, the company launched a survey with different questions that will allow players to raise their voices and be participants in the future of this title, which was launched thinking of recreating a retro experience of this MMORPG but which is increasingly updated and can lose his essence.

WoW Classic survey questions.

The most interesting questions in the entire survey are the following:

  •  How interested are you in a Classic version of The Burning Crusade?
  •  How likely are you to play a Classic version of the Burning Crusade?
  •  Where do you think you would spend more time (between a new Classic client reset to Day 1 or The Burning Crusade Classic).
  •  “If World of Warcraft introduced a new WoW Classic ‘fresh start’ realm where the game is as it was on Day 1… and the content unlocks/progresses over time, how interested would you be in playing on that realm?”

From what can be seen from the questions, Blizzard is considering doing an all-server reset so players will have their character back at level 1 after moving the data from WoW Classic to WoW The Burning Crusade.

The survey does not indicate any change in the generation or the ways to get gold, so if you want to buy classic gold, surely you can continue to do so when TBC is implemented.

The details about this fresh start have not yet been released, but everything indicates that players will lose all their achievements and will have to start from scratch after the arrival of The Burning Crusade, but, being a decision that may not please everyone, they have decided to ask the opinion of all players in the survey.

Everything indicates that Molten Core and Onyxia will be the only raids available and players would have to wait for the battlegrounds to activate and for new content to be released after TBC’s arrival.

For now, we must wait for the responses of the players to know the actions that Blizzard will take with WoW Classic and if they finally will make a fresh start or will maintain the experience of WoW Classic without adding other expansions.

What would you like them to do? Would you still play WoW Classic if it keeps updating?
